Delta's founders sought to establish a society of women in which social functions were predominant. While still largely a social organization, Delta has incorporated scholarship, service, and diversity as goals. As Oxy's largest Greek chapter, Deltas not only participate in Greek life but in nearly every aspect of the campus community, from ASOC to Athletics, to Glee Club, and Undergraduate Research. Our home houses 10 members and serves as a meeting place and location for many events. Generous and helpful alumni add a supportive element to Delta. Aside from our goals and involvement, however, Delta's strength is rooted in the lifelong bond that is formed between Delta's members.
